Every School Day Counts!

Attending school every day helps our pupils of Edison Primary School to achieve their full potential. Research suggests that being in school regularly reduces stress and anxiety and boosts confidence. Therefore, our aim is for all children to be in school every day. We recognise that this isn’t always possible, but we ask parents to support us to do everything we can together to ensure children attend school. From this academic year, parents will receive attendance reports via email and in these reports, key statistics for attendance and lateness will be shared. The first of these reports will be sent to parents in the coming weeks. As a school, we have set an ambitious whole school attendance target of 97% but we do want to aim for excellent attendance at school.
